Big brother went hunting for man me (bush food), he left his wife and kids at home with his little brother. Big brother one, when he was hunting, saw Kinga (crocodile) tracks. He went back to tell his little brother, “I found Kinga tracks, let’s go together and find it”. After that, little brother, and big brother, with his wife and kids walked together on that river and he told his little brother “I have to swim and kill it.” Little brother said, “Don’t do this, otherwise it’ll bite you”. Big brother was telling his wife, “Find me string, I’ll try and kill this Kinga.” He dived down in the water, his wife and kids were at the riverbank. He grabbed that crocodile in the water from underneath and went up to the surface with the crocodile, but that crocodile, he was sleeping. Big brother, as they were coming up was trying to tie it up with the string, but as they got closer to the surface, the warmth of the sun woke the crocodile up. It was too late for big brother and the crocodile ate big brother in half. Right on top of the water. Little brother and wife were screaming and crying from the riverbank. Little brother and the wife took the kids back home and told the family what had happened. Little brother then became the wife’s husband so he could look after that family.
