Dolobbo is a bark or stringy bark that has many uses in West Arnhem Land. Practical uses for bark include its use as a container to wrap food and other items. Dolobbo is also used as a surface for painting, the bark is heated up and flattened using weights, scraped and sometimes treated using natural resins. It is then painted, traditionally using ochres and natural pigments.
